A Taste of Home...

I haven't had too much to write about recently, but one thing I do know is it's FREEZING here!! I haven't seen it this cold since I don't know when. Negative temp's!! Then of course people say, 'Well you should be used to this, you are from Maine' Well maybe they are right, but I've lived here for over 5 years and I think my body is starting to adapt to the "warmer" weather.. But on a separate note, I also don't think anyone should be used to negative temps...it's really not normal. Most of the time I do like to be reminded of things from home, the occasional Maine license plate, or the way that the leaves smell in the fall... But...this cold weather can stay in New England!! :)

I agree with you. No one can ever get used to the negitive temps. I am thankful we are stationed here. We can't wait for your visit to the warmer weather.

Josh seems to not have ever let his body gets used to heat; he thrives in cold weather...just not dry weather. In the few months it ever gets hot here, he complains the entire time and his distaste does nothing for his pasty white skin!

Hey, Cold is cold. I don't care where you're from! Lucky for us, they usually keep the malls pretty warm! :)

I completely understand the whole license plate thing I get so excited when I see a PA plate or even New Jersey (I know NJ of all but it's close enough!) But sorry about the cold, I hate when it's so cold that even your insides are freezing.
